Satellite Pyramid of Sneferu
Description: The Satellite Pyramid on the south side of the Bent Pyramid at Dahshur is one of those mysteries that still needs to be solved, as its purpose is not yet known. The Pyramid is often referred to by researchers as the Cult Pyramid of Sneferu, as the evidence that it was the tomb of someone from the royal family is debatable. The first large-scale exploration of the Pyramid was carried out by the archaeologist Abd el-Salam Hussein in 1946-1949, whose work was partially continued by Ahmed Fakhry. Since then, unfortunately, only a few have studied the monument. After many years of closure, the interior of the Pyramid is finally open to the public. This may serve as a good start for new research.Alternative names: ?
